Play from Different Perspectives

Taylor Franklin
Hour 2

Act IV

Scene I:

Macbeth:

The witches were brewing something wicked, and I entered, as predicted. They showed me how to avoid dangers in the future, to help me ascend to the throne. Banquo’s ghost appeared, I know not what it means and the witches would not tell me. Lennox informed me on the threat of Macduff. I find it beneficial to kill him, I shall send assassins to his castle and have he and his family killed.

Lady Macbeth:

All is going well, my dear husband received some guidance from the three witches once again. I stand by him, and will do whatever I can to gain total control.

Scene II:

Macbeth:

Macduff can’t run for long. They already have stabbed his son, and the wife has fled. Till’ we can physically stab a knife through his heart, we will kill him with the death of his family. But no worry, his head will roll.

Lady Macbeth:

One step closer to the throne. But, the job isn’t quite done yet. That Macduff and his wife shall suffer death. Just like the boy, shame on him for taunting.

Scene III:

Macbeth:

Malcolm proved Macduff a worthy ally. Allies won’t help him now… we will eventually corner Macduff and seize the throne. Malcolm may become a problem, but his blood is worth the throne.

Lady Macbeth:

I hope the news of his family’s death is killing him. We will hunt for him and squash him like a bug, and whoever gets in my husband and I’s way.

Act V:
Scene I:

Macbeth:

The wife is having terrible sleepwalking spells. She seemed to lament over the murders of Banquo and Lady Macbeth. She claimed she had blood on her hands, that nothing could wash the blood off. I wonder if this is an omen, if our terrible deeds will soon catch us…

Lady Macbeth:

I remember nothing of the sleepwalking, but thoughts have been haunting me. Our acts do not comply with human survival and happiness, I am beginning to see.

Scene II:

Macbeth:

Battle is imminent, we must crush them or we will die. We must hurry, hurry, and crush them. We have to kill them so fast that the murders won’t catch us.

Lady Macbeth:

His descend into madness cannot be matched by mine. This battle shall prove bloody.

Scene III:

Macbeth:

I feel confident, as only a man not born from a woman can harm me. And no man of such conditions can exist. The soldiers shall approach, and we will be ready. A suit of armor I will wear long in advance. Lady Macbeth is of little concern now, the mad woman. The doctor shall have her now. We are ready for blood.

Lady Macbeth:

The battle should kill us. Just like those we have murdered. No doctor can save me.

Scene IV:

Macbeth:

England will be at my mercy and I shall be king of Scotland.

Lady Macbeth:

The battle should kill us. Just like those we have murdered. No doctor can save me.

Scene V:

Macbeth:

When I heard the forest was advancing, my hopes dove as with upon hearing the news of my wife’s death. The prophecy is becoming fulfilled. We shall fight for my throne. For my glory. I advanced into the battle because, no man born of a woman can harm me.

Scene VI:

Macbeth:

The boughs have fallen to reveal soldiers. This will be glory for Scotland.

Scene VII:

Macbeth:

I cannot die by these fools! I’ll slay them all! I’ve killed Lord Siward’s sond. Good.

Scene VIII:

Macbeth:

Macduff is a stupid man, he cannot kill me.

Scene IX:

Macbeth:

Malcolm and Siward hath entered my home.

Scene X:

Macbeth:

Macduff revealed he was birthed untimely, ripped from he womb. The prophecy holds not for him. Damn it.
Scene XI:

Macbeth:

What a humiliating defeat. My power-hungry actions caused death to Scotland.
